Burning wheat? What a crazy idea? Since time eternal wheat has been a staple food. Producing energy from wheat is an offence ethically in a world where more than 10 % of the population starve from hunger.
Triticale for human consumption– as explained under Human Consumption - at best plays a niche role in the food industry, being foremost a feed grain. Thus, no ethical scruples should exist when using triticale for heating.
Considering grain supply worldwide now and in future, and the development of market prices of basic materials, heating with grain does not seem to be economical. Possible usages seem to be limited to clippings and lots unsuitable for feed and food.
